씰의 기능은 프로세스 가스 누설의 최소화이며 오일의 누유를 방지하는 역할을 갖고 있습니다.
카본씰은 보통 공기나 질소 압축기에 적용되며, 가스 압축기의 경우에는 드라이 가스 씰을 주로 적용합니다.
